Spooktacular Halloween Events For The Entire Family

When it comes to celebrating one of fall’s favorite holidays, there’s no place to be than Rochester or the surrounding neighborhoods. The crisp, cool air, the changing leaves and the elaborate costumes – there’s nothing better! If you’re looking for some family fun leading up to Halloween this year, we’ve got you covered. Here’s what’s going on in our neck of the woods:

25th Anniversary of Holiday Hollow

This is their 25th and final year putting on the pirate-themed Halloween entertainment you all know and love, so you definitely don’t want to miss out. Holiday Hollow is a venue for all ages and the overall theme is happy, not scary. This event takes place rain or shine every weekend in October.

Tails & Treats

Head on out to Lollypop Farm this Saturday, October 28th, for a spooktacular afternoon. Bring the kids for trick-or-treating around the farm and they can also participate in other fun games and activities. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

The Spooky Express

For the young ones, the Pumpkin Patch Limited departs at 2:30pm and 4:00pm. For the older kids, the Halloween Express departs at 5:30pm and 7:00pm from the New York Museum of Transportation. Kids can trick-or-treat in the trolley barn and cider doughnuts will be available at the end!

Haunted Hayride

Halloween wouldn’t be complete without a haunted hayride and this year, you can fulfill your adrenaline craving at Haunted Hayrides of Greater Rochester. Tickets are $8 per person.
